Jean Etienne, MBA, CPA
Mr. Etienne’s professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Black Accountants. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Mr. Etienne has more than twenty years of experience providing accounting, management and consulting services to clients in areas of nonprofit, real estate, governmental and private sectors. He has performed various audits in accordance with OMB Circular A-133, HUD, UFR and Pension Plans requirements.
Assurance and Information Services: Manage, direct and oversee financial and compliance audits of financial statements of businesses in accordance with GAAP and government and specialized industry audit guides including Government Auditing Standards or the Yellow Book; Single Audit Act and OMB Circular A-133, HUD, and UFR. Oversee incurred cost and overhead rate audits of architectural and engineering companies under contracts with MBTA. Manage review and compilation of financial statements of small and medium size businesses.
Tax Planning and Preparation: Plan and prepare taxes for individuals and businesses.
EDUCATION: Mr. Etienne received both his MBA degree from the University of the Virgin Islands, St. Thomas, U.S.V.I. in 1996 and his BA degree in Accounting in 1990.
